"PORQUE SUEÑO NO ESTOY LOCO" / "CUS I DREAM I'M NOT CRAZY"

"Cuanto tiempo sin poder sentarme a escribir..."  Sería una forma de empezar este post post-catarsis/crisis económica/crisis emocional/crisis nerviosa/mudanza/reforma/papeleos/incertidumbre/etc. sin embargo creo que admitir que simplemente no sabía por dónde empezar a contar - hasta hoy- todo cuanto esta nueva aventura, este nuevo reto involucraba se ajusta más a la realidad. No obstante allí ha estado, desde el primer momento, cada día en mi camino hacía o desde casa: "porque sueño no estoy loco". Aquel graffiti multicolor y de enormes proporciones que de ninguna manera pasaría desapercibido ante los ojos de nadie en medio de una plaza cuyo único elemento es un parking de bicis de alquiler se convirtió en todo cuanto necesitaba pensar y sentir desde aquel entonces. Entonces comprendí que este era aquel punto de inflexión que tanto he buscado desde que decidí hace nueve años dejar una vida atrás y empezar una nueva en otro país. Materializar este sueño no ha sido fácil, pero sin duda alguna ha sido la mejor forma de probarme a mi mismo que no he estado loco todos estos años. Gracias a mi increible familia, a mis maravillosos amigos y a Nacho, el amor de mi vida. Contar con vuestro apoyo ha sido mejor que cualquier sueño que haya tenido. 

"It's been a long a time since...." Could be a way to start writing this post post-catharsis/economic crisis/emotional crisis/ nervous breakdown/ moving/ paperworks/etc. though admitting simply I didn't know where to start -till today- to write about all what  this new adventure, this new challenge involved was closer to reality than anything else. There fore there it was, since the beginning, everyday on my way: "Cus' I dream I'm not crazy" . That huge and colorful graffiti that'd never pass unnoticed to nobody in the middle of a desertic square with just a rent a bike parking lot became at that time everything I needed to think and feel. I suddenly understood that was the turning point that I've been desperately looking for since nine years ago I sort of decided to leave a life behind and start another one on a different country. To materialize this dream hasn't been easy though without a doubt in my mind it has been the best possible way to proof myself I haven't been crazy all of these years. Thanks to my incredible family, my wonderful friends and Nacho, the love of my life. Having all your support has been better than any dream I've had. 

INSPIRACIÓN POST VACACIONAL / POST VACATIONAL INSPIRATION

La inspiración puede surgir en la búsqueda de nuevos horizontes, de mares y cielos aún por descubrir y redescubrir. Tonos que evocan la frescura de sus cristalinas y paradisiacas aguas y convierten cualquier habitación en nuestro edén particular. Apuesto a que con una dosis de esta vibrante, elegante y relajada gama cualquiera de nosotros podremos sobrevivir a la depresión post vacacional de la cual podríamos padecer. Qué mejor inspiración que el color que nos acompaña en ese viaje, en esos días cuando tienes tiempo para la familia, los amigos y para ti mismo. 

Inspiration may come on the search for new horizons, seas and skies yet to discover and rediscover. Shades that reminds us fresh cristal water and turn any room in our particular Eden. I bet a dose of this vibrant, elegant and relaxing tones will make us survive post vacational depression wich non of us are safe from. What better inspiration than that colour always there on that trip, on those days when there's time for family, friends and specially, yourself.

EL SÍNDROME LUNES / MONDAY'S SYNDROME

Que mejor que la obra de Lorenzo Castillo (del cual soy fan elevado a la enésima potencia) para empezar la semana? Particularmente no pude pensar en nada más energizante e inspirador, en definitiva, tan energizante como las cuatro tazas de café que han hecho falta para mantenerme despierto en lo que lleva del día. El palacete que ha conseguido devolverme la sincronización motora y ocular es una auténtica muestra de lo que uno de los grandes  del interiorismo español nos viene otorgando, como de costumbre. Debo reconocer que me encanta el trabajo de Lorenzo porque es la mezcla perfecta de la alta decoración americana y europea. La calidad de sus antigüedades, su exquisito manejo de los tejidos y en particular, sus piezas de diseño propio con aires retro. El resultado son espacios elegantes, con personalidad y carácter sin dejar a un lado la frescura y calidez que nos hace sentirnos como en casa. 

What better than Lorenzo Castillo's work (wich I'm a huge fan with a big F) to start our week? Personally, I couldn't think of anything more energizing or inspiring, actually, almost as energizing as the four cups of coffee I had to stay awake so far. The mansion that got my motor skills and eye sync back is an authentic sample of what one of the great ones of the spanish's deco scene have been giving to us, as usually. I have to admit I love Lorenzo's work because is the perfect mix between the great american and european interiorism. Antiques's quality and artistic value, an exquisite treat when it comes to mixing fabrics and, specially, those retro look pieces of his own design. As a result we get elegant rooms filled with personality and attitude without leaving aside that fresh and warm vibe that makes us feel like home.
